Sol, the founder of North London Pilates, initially discovered Pilates over 20 years ago. With her background in dance, Pilates was intuitive and in sync with her personal style of exercise. She loved the way it made her body feel and wanted to share that experience and knowledge with others. Sol trained with the elite STOTT Pilates and the YMCA. She holds the following certifications:
- STOTT Pilates Matwork Level 1 Instructor Certification.
- YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates.
- Total Barre Qualified Instructor.
- DBS background checked.
Sol follows the STOTT Pilates teaching method, a contemporary approach to the original Pilates method based on modern principles of exercise, biomechanics, science and rehabilitation. She maintains and updates her knowledge of the STOTT Pilates method by attending workshops every year. She is the mum of a charming girl and a dance instructor and enthusiast. Sol holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in Religious Studies.
